1. Who we are & Merchant of Record

DANEG is operated by Daneg FZE LLC (Free Zone Establishment - Limited Liability), a company registered with the Free Zones Authority of Ajman / Ajman Media City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates, under Trade Licence No. 51408 and Registration No. 51408.

In these terms, "we", "us", "DANEG", and "Merchant" refer to Daneg FZE LLC. "You" or "Customer" refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the platform.

2. Accepting these terms

By accessing our website (DANEG), registering an account, listing, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Returns & Refunds Policy.

If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must not use or access this website.

3. Eligibility & Minors prohibition

Customers using the website who are Minors / under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to form a binding contract under UAE law.

• You must register with accurate, true, and complete information and maintain it updated at all times.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and passwords.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, avoid suspension, or circumvent marketplace policies.

4. Country of domicile & Governing law

United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile.

Any purchase, dispute, or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The competent courts in the UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes.

5. OFAC and sanctions compliance

Website will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.

6. Payment, pricing & currency

We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams) or any other agreed currency.

All prices are quoted and charged in UAE Dirhams (AED). If your bank account or payment card is denominated in another currency, your card issuer will apply their foreign currency exchange rate and international transaction fees.

• The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their payment credentials and account login.
• All credit and debit card transactions are authenticated and processed via secure, encrypted payment gateway channels adhering to PCI-DSS standards.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel transactions suspected of fraud, chargeback abuse, or regulatory non-compliance.

7. Platform nature and peer-to-peer listings

DANEG provides a curated platform connecting buyers and sellers of pre-loved luxury and authenticated fashion items. The direct contract of sale for user-listed items is between the buyer and the seller.

We inspect and review listings to maintain community standards, prevent counterfeit goods, and protect buyers and sellers.

8. Selling on DANEG

When you list an item on DANEG, you confirm that you legally own the item, have the full right to sell it, and that all descriptions, measurements, flaws, and photographs are truthful, authentic, and your own.

• Counterfeit, replica, stolen, or otherwise illegal items are strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
• Items must be dispatched within the confirmed handling window using approved trackable courier services.
• Prohibited items include hazardous materials, goods restricted under UAE federal customs, and items violating third-party intellectual property.

9. Buying, delivery & order confirmation

When an order is placed and payment is authorized, a digital order confirmation receipt is generated with an order identifier and item summary.

Delivery is conducted across the United Arab Emirates through trusted logistics partners within 2 to 5 business days from order confirmation.

10. Fees, commissions & taxes

Applicable platform commissions or service fees are transparently disclosed before checkout. Sellers and buyers are responsible for any applicable personal taxes or duties under the laws of the UAE.

11. Content & intellectual property

Users retain ownership of original photographs and text they upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and promote such listings for the operation and marketing of the platform.

12. Acceptable conduct

• Do not harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate any individual or brand.
• Do not conduct or solicit off-platform transactions to evade platform protections or fees.
• Do not scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to our servers or databases.
• Do not artificially inflate ratings, fabricate reviews, or manipulate search algorithms.

13. Moderation, suspension and termination

We reserve the right to remove any listing, restrict account features, or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or present financial, legal, or security risks to users.

Users may close their account at any time via Settings, provided there are no active, pending, or disputed orders.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the platform.

Our maximum cumulative liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event, or AED 500, whichever is greater.

15. Amendments to terms

The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet regulatory requirements and standards. Customers are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about changes. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
